Chase's high school sports involvement ignited his interest in kinesiology, leading to a role as an athletic trainer assistant at the College of the Desert, where he focused on injury rehabilitation for college football athletes.

During his college years, Chase transitioned into personal training and crossed paths with Dr. Jacome, a fitness enthusiast. Inspired by this encounter, Chase shifted his academic focus to premed, majoring in biology. His journey took an exciting turn as he joined Dr. Jacome in surgery, contributing to the development of a medical device for hormone replacement therapy. Chase completed his biology degree at California State University, Channel Islands, delving into neuroscience research and eventually entering the biotechnology realm with Amgen.

Embarking on postgraduate studies, Chase earned a Masters in Neuroimmunology and played a pivotal role in launching SightGene, a company dedicated to treating macular degeneration.
